Etlia’s expert supported Harjavalta Group in its modernization journey
In early 2025, Harjavalta Group’s subsidiaries, Puustelli and Kastelli, identified a need to move from an on-premises environment to a modern data solution based on Microsoft Fabric.
Etlia’s expert acted as an advisor in the project: providing sparring on architectural choices, supporting the implementation during critical phases, and ensuring the robustness and sustainability of the technical solutions. The actual technical implementation was carried out by the customer’s own team, and the solution was successfully deployed on the Microsoft Fabric platform during 2025.
After the platform was in use at Puustelli and Kastelli, we continued the collaboration in a focused proof-of-concept phase, where the use of machine learning to support pricing-related decision-making was explored. Etlia’s expert’s role was primarily to spar and validate the approach: identifying the key factors, defining an appropriate level of accuracy, and ensuring that the work was based on a sensible and maintainable implementation model. We also contributed to the technical implementation by leveraging Microsoft Fabric’s AI capabilities.
