A long-term project in which an Etlia consultant has worked as an expert in the customer’s Master Data Management (MDM). The customer uses Tibco EBX as its MDM tool, an area where our consultant has strong expertise. The role has included maintenance, application development, advisory work, and the design and implementation of development ideas. Technical expertise in EBX, programming and the project’s many other technologies, combined with a positive attitude, has secured a long customer relationship that both parties are happy with.

Etlia’s project manager has worked with the customer for years in a variety of project management roles. The projects have mainly related to combating financial crime.

We helped the customer build a new cloud-based data warehouse solution for its asset management business. We used the modern, cloud-based Informatica Cloud (IICS) as the integration tool. Our expert services covered the specification, implementation, production deployment and maintenance of the data warehouse solution.

Technical project management for migrating operational applications from on-premises environments to the cloud (Azure). The assignment also included defining a future roadmap and preparing cost estimates for the different phases.

Etlia’s project manager led projects for several banks on behalf of an international software company, including in regulatory reporting.

In recent years, our customer has used Etlia’s expertise extensively in a range of SAP projects, including the SAP analytics architect role, SAP BW data migration projects, financial reporting and SAP Datasphere integration projects. We have also helped the customer design and implement Azure/Databricks solutions, migrate on-premises data warehouses to the Azure/Databricks platform, and define, evaluate and prioritize AI use cases.

Etlia’s experts worked for the customer as a Data Analyst and a Data Engineer, focusing on turning manual processes into automated, data-driven solutions. Power BI was used as the reporting tool. The project aimed to significantly reduce manual work and improve efficiency, and it was carried out using agile methods. As a result, the customer’s reporting process was streamlined and the business gained accurate, up-to-date data to support decision-making. For the same customer, we have also carried out advisory assignments in the Data Catalog and SAP Datasphere areas.

The customer was running a large project related to the EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) regulation. We helped the customer interpret the regulation from the perspective of its industry and map it against its current data architecture. We also carried out a comprehensive gap analysis of the data available in the customer’s current systems and where it falls short of the DPP requirements.

Our customer has used our Data Engineer expertise for years, for example in the following projects: migrating an extensive on-premises analytics solution to the Databricks platform, developing an ELT solution, implementation and maintenance tasks, migrations between platforms, and the specification, implementation and maintenance of a Databricks Lakehouse solution.

Our customer used Etlia’s expertise in SAP data analytics and planning projects for several years. The assignments covered a wide range of specification, design, implementation and maintenance work.

We helped the customer develop its Data Governance in a project lasting about a year. The assignment included introducing and rolling out a Data Catalog and supporting the customer’s organization. The customer chose Microsoft Purview as its solution.

For years, we have helped an international construction and infrastructure company develop its global data platform across its business areas. Technologies have included Snowflake, Matillion, OBIEE, Power BI and Informatica (on-premises and cloud).

Our customer is building a company-wide data platform in which Databricks plays a key role. We have helped design, implement and maintain the solution. It draws on data from dozens of source systems, which is modeled on the platform with dbt. We have also built a range of APIs that pass data on for further processing and end-user reporting.

Our customer used Etlia’s expertise in SAP data analytics projects for several years. The assignments covered a wide range of specification, design, implementation and maintenance work. Our cooperation continues with smaller development projects.

Leading the customer’s large cloud migration from an on-premises solution to a modern, cloud-based solution (AWS). The assignment included administrative and technical project management, acting as Scrum Master for two Scrum teams, and hands-on work in iPaaS and AWS environments.

An advisory assignment that included updating and refining the current architecture into a future data architecture, describing cloud-based architecture options, planning a pilot of a cloud-based data architecture, and assessing the migration of SAP ERP data to the cloud (including requirements, data volumes, licensing restrictions and performance).

Consulting on modernizing the data architecture into a cloud-based Azure solution, including data warehousing and reporting.

SAP BW analytics consulting: specification, design, implementation and maintenance. We also took part in migration projects.

We helped a large city-owned rental housing company assess the current state of its reporting and draw up a concrete plan for implementing a modern, cloud-based data platform. In the project, we reviewed the company’s core systems extensively and evaluated different solution options.
